Allison Hillstrom - CMS Principal

I am thrilled to be part of team Centralia. I am starting my 14th year in education. I taught middle school and high school math for 8 years, and am now entering my 6th year as a school administrator. Prior to being hired as the new CMS Principal, I served as the administrator for CSD's alternative high school, Futurus, and the 7-12 STEM/AVID Director. If I'm being completely honest, middle school was my first love as an educator and I'm excited to be part of a vibrant and highly skilled team at Centralia Middle School. Middle school is a crazy, complex, and incredible time for students to develop and prepare for high school and beyond and I'm here for it!

 

My husband of 33 years and I are empty nesters except for our two adorable Westies and my elderly mom who lives with us. We have two amazing boys and daughters-in-law. I hold a BA in Sociology with an emphasis in education, an MEd in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as an MEd in Instructional Leadership. My favorite things are hanging out with my dogs, camping, walks on the beach, and hanging out with family. Please reach out to me anytime with questions, comments, or concerns.
