Brooklynn Lowe - English Teacher

Hello! Thank you for visiting my teacher page. This is my 18th year teaching Middle School.  I teach 8th grade English, Honors English, and a technology elective called Digitools. I am committed to creating a positive, engaging, and rigorous environment for students.

I was born and raised in Kennewick, WA.  My mom still lives there and I love visiting this beautiful area.  I attended the University of Washington and studied History for my undergraduate degree.  I worked as a paraeducator, nanny, and barista for a year before returning to the University of Washington to complete my Master’s in Teaching degree.  The Seattle area is fun, diverse and beautiful, but my husband and I couldn’t wait to leave the traffic and find a smaller community to build our lives in…20 years later we call Centralia our home.

I have three children.  My oldest is just beginning his first year at college. I have a sophomore at Centralia High School and an 8th grader here at Centralia Middle School.

I believe communication with students and families is important. I try to send an email home every other week and update Skyward weekly. Please email me with any questions, comments, or concerns at [email protected] .
