No School for students October 12th & 13th!
Conference Date/Time - Reminder letters went home last week
All conferences have been scheduled & letters have been sent home with date & time. Please check with your child's English teacher if you are unsure of your student-led conference time.
Conferences are Wednesday evening October 11th and ALL day and evening of October 12th.
PoMSS (Parents of Middle School Students)
Thank you for the great turn out! We had over 20 parents join our meeting! POMSS (Parents of Middle School Students) Meeting - Tuesday November 7th! All parents/guardians/families/teachers welcome to join to help partner and plan fun activities for our Yellow Jacket community! We meet at 6pm @ CMS Commons the first Tuesday of each month!!! Enter through the side door by bus drop off.
Please join us to plan for: Update on school happenings, details on conferences, concession sales, and November 9th Family Night! We need a team to make opportunities happen!

Picture Retakes are October 11th
Students who did not get their picture taken Friday September 15th can get their picture on October 11th. Also, if a parent wants retakes from the original picture, students bring the entire packet, no pictures cut out. Return the entire packet the day of retakes and get their picture taken.

Continue to talk with your child about family expectations regarding behavior at school and in public spaces:
Students gave lots of updates and concerns about their peers and unsafe behaviors this past week
Please monitor social media - fights and supporting of fights are occurring on various social media chats and comments; also bullying is occurring on social media
With continued safe behaviors, we will be able to schedule our first dance of the year! Admin, School Leadership Class, ASB, & ASB advisor will meet and select a date.
WE WOULD LOVE PARENT/GUARIDAN/COMMUNITY HELPERS TO:
Provide extra support at lunch
Provide club/activity opportunities - at lunch / after school
Provide class and academic support

CMS Family Night - Sponsored by PoMSS
November 9th!
PoMSS (Parents of Middle School Students) is organizing Centralia Middle School Family Game night. Students attend with their family, families may bring additional CMS students and family with them. ALL Students have to attend with a CMS family to participate in the evening. Order forms will be sent home to pre-order pizza & drinks! There will be lots of different yard games to play and fun games in the gym.

Our PoMSS committee will meet next week to continue our work for Family Game Night on November 9th! Come help us plan & bring our CMS Community together!
